date with my sophia

date

the above photos were taken by my youngest daughter sophia while we were on a date last weekend. first, we went to our favorite restaurant on the beach. then we went to visit the baby goats and chickens at a local hay/feed store. finally, we capped it off by getting some ice cream at mcconnells. she ordered rainbow sherbet with sprinkle covered chocolate chips. needless to say, we had a wonderful time.

I am a soon to be father and love photos… so my question is, do your kids mind all the photography? I see David Hobby who uses his kids often as subjects, but I suspect it gets to be a bit much for the children.
Is there a point where they go, “Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad……” Or is it spaced out enough that they don’t mind?

Thanks for sharing your talents. I loved the LR videos.

thanks. in regards to taking photos of my girls there is quite an ebb and flow. sometimes i won’t take any photos for a few months. especially because you can’t wrestle or run through the sprinklers with a camera in hand. others times i’ll snap photos frequently.

What camera/lens combo did you use to take these? Did you bring them into PS or LR to tweak anything? I love the colors in the ones at the beach. I try to shoot in manual but miss the action. Shooting it in P works for the most part but I feel I should have more creative control. Any tips would be awesome. Love your work!
