i recently photographed world champion and legend shaun tomson for surfer magazine. we met at sunrise and made some unreal photographs. the above image is an out take from the shoot. while it wasn’t one of the photos i selected in the final edit, i still like it because you of the light and shadows. (click on the image above for a larger view)

Great stuff Chris. Really enjoyed the interview–such a good idea. Makes the photos come to life in a way I’ve probably never experienced before.
What a great interview – wow he has been riding for 30 years!! He has such a great attitude about life. Ha your out takes are like my good stuff – practice practice practice!
