thankful
this portrait of my beautiful wife photo above was taken by my 3 year old daughter sophia in our backyard. i set up the camera, taught sophia how to use the shutter release and walked away. she told kelly where to look, waited for a few moments and pressed the button – what a wonderful moment and shot! it makes me so thankful for my family. i hope you get to spend time with yours, have a wonderful thanksgiving!

Thank you and hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, also. I have had the pleasure of handing a camera to my grandchildren on hikes and enjoyed the images they take. Even had a couple of good images are of me.
What a wonderful moment , thanks for sharing…Happy Thanksgiving!
Wonderful story and beautiful image, in so many ways. What a gift to be given to a three-year-old; And to be given back BY a three-year-old! You have a talented family there Chris. Blessings all around…
Beautiful!
If you get a wonderful opportunity again, sneak away and take a photo of Sophia taking her photo then display them both side by side for a lifetime keepsake. You have one pretty amazing lil’-photographer there.
i came across your book today at barnes and nobles and was instantly captivated by your style of writing/thought process and photography. it made me feel inspired and reminded me to believe in myself. thank you so much for that.

Wonderful!
My 7yo recently captured some of the best photos of me. I was in my sewing room, with the light coming in from the window and my sewing machines and ironing board in the background. It was relaxing and fun. They are just so natural… me in my element playing with my sons. :)
