a portrait of one of my teaching colleagues harry liles. this one was captured last week with a wood and brass large format camera and t55 polaroid film (yep i still have a few boxes left!).

    i couldn’t agree more. one of the best things about teaching at brooks is the people you get to be around whether they are students, other teachers or visiting photographers. and yep harry is great guy, awesome teacher and of course has a good sense of humor. as i was shooting this he was heckling me, “get a real camera… what are you doing shooting film, don’t you realize that could get you fired.” it was classic.

    I love that capture. great definition and contrasts while maintaining sharp detail… i would not know where to start with that camera… ;)
