annika / self-portrait
last weekend we went up to northern california to visit family for mother’s day. i brought along my old wooden large format camera and had set it up next to a window in the living room. while i was setting up, my oldest daughter annika asked if she could take a picture of herself. of course i obliged and as far as i know, this is her first ever self-portrait. wow. isn’t it just beautiful… it’s one of my all time favorites. what a gift.

Really neat photo…..just when you least expect it….a masterpiece is created!! :-)
Wow… she has grown! …I say this as I have watched her grow up through watching your training movies.
Great photo… she must take after her dad with her camera skills.
“wow” really just just about sums it up, chris! absolutely wonderful self-portrait. was this from the same camera that you took the self-portrait with in your training videos? the style of the picture looks very similar.
Wow, fantastic image. One you would be proud of yourself?
oh! This is one that deserves to be a print – what a beautiful portrait! I love the story and emotion behind those eyes…you must be a proud papa! :)
This is incredible Chris..Definitely a Keeper!!!
Yes, I can see why it’s going to be a favorite one. I also would suggest printing it, 2 copies one for her and one for you. I like her intense expression and oh that eye contact she is making!
