flipside is another creation by
My initial reaction was that she was a little low in the frame with the eyes perhaps falling right in the middle. But the more I looked at it, the more the framing made sense to me. This is about a young girl walking through the tall plants in grandpa’s garden, so it makes good sense to have her a little lower in the frame to emphasize the contrast in heights. Very nice, Chris.
I respond to the mystery in this shot, the sideways gaze and half smile that
suggest that She knows where the secret bridge is….between this world and the
other of course. Also the way that her arms are open, and making a path….the
squiggly seed heads in the background, and the tonality. I also like the way her
hair is swirling around her face, which is what really happens during exploration…
I kind of thought she maybe like my boys a little and thinking “Dad really, another photo” ; ) . Love the reality of your work, the everyday made special,
Semplicemente meravigliosa.
square.
love it.
peace.
I loved your post at Scott Kelby’s so much. I have read it 4 times. I shared it on facebook with my friends. Thank you so much for the inspiration you shared today. Beautiful. As is this picture.
There is a true art to creating portraits, I think it’s light control , emotion capture,
The psychology of learning how as a photographer to let go of your own ego and capture someones soul in a click. Love your portrait work very inspirational.
She is getting so big! The photos from the videos I learned from she was just a wee little one! What a stunner :)
